Albatross Foundation welcomed over 60 scouts and guides for the weekend of June 22/23. The youngsters camped out on the Albatross site near the educational garden, organized games and spent the evening singing around the fire. The next day, parents joined them for a shared Sunday lunch.

In order to improve the environmental conditions in the desertified lands of Inner Mongolia, the Albatross Foundation participates in the Million Tree Project initiated by Shanghai Roots & Shoots, donating and planting trees through the MTP. Havas has made 5 of its communications team in Shanghai available on a part-time basis to organize Albatross events. Havas China won the Havard CSR Award in Asia for its collaboration with Albatross.

For the 1st anniversary of the Albatross, a free distribution of children’s books on the back of Yaks was organized in collaboration with the Societal Harvard Serve program under the chairmanship of Theresita Alvarez (President of HLSA).
