In June, our Albatross volunteer Dr. Jallon, a beekeeping veterinarian, gave a course to young high school students on the world of bees.
A live hive was set up on site and the queen was marked.
As Dr Jallon is also a referral veterinarian for the Loire GDS Apicole (Groupement de Défense Sanitaire de la Loire), she helped formalize a cooperation agreement between GDS and Albatross.
As a result, a training day on varois and exercises with 5 live hives took place on the Albatross site with around thirty GDS members.
