The Albatross Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to education for sustainable development, operates with the support of its sister organization, the social enterprise C2D (Create2donate.org).
C2D is dedicated to art, literature and science, and its e-commerce line currently offers a selection of paintings, sculptures, jewelry and books. C2D is registered in Singapore and legally accredited as a trading and e-commerce house, auction house, consultancy and publishing house.
Up to 2/3 of C2D’s net profits are donated to support Albatross and partner NGOs working to achieve the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Albatross hopes thatINSEAD students and professors will help define the strategy and business model for a significant expansion of C2D, including the launch of a new range of AI-based EdTech products.
The project builds on INSEAD’s reputation for entrepreneurship and digital innovation. For students, it represents a veritable learning laboratory, enabling them to mobilize their skills in strategy, marketing and sustainable development in a concrete, meaningful setting.
The Albatross Foundation is a non-profit organization, a UN-accredited NGO partner, and an organization of general interest in France, allowing tax deductibility of donations. It was founded in 2011 in China and Singapore, and in 2017 in France.
Its mission: to educate young people about sustainable development in a fun way, using the latest edtech tools.
Albatross operates without salaried staff, relying on the talents of a large network of volunteers: scientists, artists, accountants, lawyers from all over the world, as well as students from business and engineering schools(Harvard, EMLyon, INSEAD/SECE, École des Mines, etc.).
Albatross achievements:
- 18,000 children trained in China, France and Brazil thanks to the involvement of 6 historical sponsors (Solvay, Arkema, Imerys, Havas, Auchan, Air France).
- 75,000 books distributed to children
- 1 eco-labeled garden, a practical learning tool in sustainable agriculture
- 21,000 downloads of the SAPHIR mobile application, a multilingual, interactive educational game co-developed with CNRS-LIRIS
- 1 cutting-edge Edtech AI tool, GaiaVoice, to encourage sustainable behavior (prototype: GaiaVoice)
- 1 e-commerce and publishing social enterprise, registered in Singapore : Create2donate
The project challenge
This project represents a unique opportunity to act at the crossroads ofentrepreneurship,AI innovation and sustainable development, with the following objectives:
- Validate the viability of an impact-based business model for C2D, combining art, literature and AI-enhanced coaching tools.
- Assessing the product-market fit for a new range of AI-enabled creative products
- Analyze demand, price sensitivity and sales potential for physical and digital goods
- Assess the ESG impact and scalability of the project in relation to the SDGs and international social entrepreneurship standards.
Students will also be asked to assess the structure and sustainability of Albatross’ lean and decentralized operating model, based on a network of partners and volunteers remunerated through a mix of financial payments and in-kind exchanges.
Albatross executives are particularly interested in long-term tax and profitability implications, as well as ESG compliance and operational scalability.
Paris, July 2025 – The Albatross Foundation, a pioneer in sustainable development education, announces the launch of the GAIAVOICE prototype, an artificial intelligence-based personal coach dedicated to teaching children and young people sustainable, healthy and responsible behaviors.

AI for learning to take care of oneself, others and the planet: Developed with an inclusive EdTech perspective, GAIAVOICE presents itself as a conversational AI coach promoting the acquisition ofsocio-emotional learning, sustainable lifestyles and well-being skills. The tool aims to meet the crucial challenge of raising early awareness of the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs ).
A prototype integrated into a Harvard children’s book: The first GAIAVOICE prototype accompanies the book “Finding Happy”, written and illustrated by Dr. Ellen Langer Harvard professor, world-renowned for her work in psychology. Thanks to a QR code or URL link included in the book, children and their families can access :
- GAIAVOICE AI assistant,
- games and educational activities,
- and an enriched audio version of the book.
This scheme is designed to reinforce the SDGs relating to health and well-being, as well asquality education, from the earliest age.
A universal, multilingual and customizable tool: GAIAVOICE is designed to adapt to all languages, learning styles and ages. Ultimately, the platform aims to cover all the SDGs through an immersive, accessible and highly personalized learning experience.
Legal support and responsible innovation: Two specialized law firms assist the Albatross Foundation pro bono in :
- regulatory compliance with the new European AI Act,
- protecting the intellectual property of GAIAVOICE technology.
In addition, a test protocol and evaluation questionnaire have been finalized to test the prototype with a panel of families and schools.
Towards an integrated, scalable AI platform: Initially deployed on the personal.ai.com platform since November 2024, GAIAVOICE is set to evolve in the near future towards a complete solution co-developed with a partner research laboratory. This future version will integrate :
- enriched voice interaction,
- interactive animations,
- optimized web semantics,
- emotional blocks for empathetic and inclusive learning.
With GAIAVOICE, the Albatross Foundation is turning its vision of benevolent artificial intelligence into reality, in the service of sustainable, accessible and human-centered education. A promising innovation, to be followed very closely. Testing the GaiaVoice prototype with young volunteers from the Forez Loire high school in France.
