Tiger Center’s health awareness efforts

In the rural areas adjoining Kanha National Park where medical services are not available, Tiger Center has been providing medical services to the tribals and the general public for many years.

As always, this time we found a village (Tilri) around 15 km from the Khatiya gate of Kanha National Park, where the inhabitants were suffering from blood deficiency, with anaemia spreading rapidly through the village.

Our qualified doctor conducted health checkup by going door to door in the village and gave health advisory to the people. Especially, he went to the children’s school and talked to them and gave them health related information.

And the lady doctor gave information to the women of the village about the things they should keep in mind during pregnancy and what they should eat and distributed medicines to them so that this problem can be solved.

Although Tiger Center works in many other areas as well, but in today’s time, the greatest need here is related to health, for which Tiger Center makes full efforts from its side.
