Health Outreach Efforts by Tiger Center

In the rural areas adjoining Kanha National Park where medical services are not available, Tiger Center has been providing medical services to the tribals and the general public for many years.

This time, we identified a village named Tilri, located about 15 km away from the Khatiya Gate of Kanha National Park, where people were suffering from blood deficiency, leading to the rapid spread of anemia in the community.

Our qualified doctor conducted health checkups by going door to door in the village and provided health advisory to the residents. Special attention was given to the children’s school, where the doctor spoke to the students and shared health-related information.

Additionally, a lady doctor addressed the women of the village, educating them on essential prenatal care, dietary recommendations during pregnancy, and distributed necessary medications to help tackle the issue.

Although Tiger Center works in many other areas as well, the current pressing need in this region is healthcare, and Tiger Center is making full efforts to address this issue.
