class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">First, six holes were dug to form the base of the hedge, in the style of a wicker fence. <strong>Wooden stakes<\/strong> were placed in these holes to hold <strong>the branches and leaves<\/strong> in place in successive layers. <\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\"><div
